Summer 2007. Sigh. The Summer of Failure.
Download: Driving With the Windows Down Summer 2007 - A Mixed CD
I had originally made this cd at the beginning of June for my Montreal trip and it's still in heavy rotation in my car. It's sort of become the soundtrack to my summer so I thought I'd share; let me know what you think because it's become kind of personal to me, you know? I highly recommend burning it and playing it while driving with the windows down. Also worth noting...I switched 3 of the tracks from the original version: All the Holes In the Wall by Birdmonster, Spitting In the Wind by Badly Drawn Boy, and It's Good by Sea Snakes were replaced by tracks 9, 11, and 13. It's better this way. Promise. Oh, yeah. And a bunch of the songs are covers so have fun figuring those out.

Spinto is a must-have for sure. Start with the latest Dr. Dog -- We All Belong. I'd also recommend you take a listen to the Teeth. My recorded introduction to them was actually via the live show posted on their website; I listened to that over and over for about a year before I ever bought an album. Of course, the new album is fantastic, though.
Glad you like the mix. To be honest, I only make about 1 or 2 mixes per year because it takes me a really long time to put one together. I'm anal about the songs and the order and the theme, etc.
